I like to study where I know no one can possibly interrupt me, and away from people. Is there any place on campus like this? I'm talking about bathroom privacy level.

Hatcher Graduate Library. Private rooms in the Duderstadt. 3rd Floor UGLI.

Also in the grad, if you go up to the stacks (anywhere from floor 4-7), there are private study rooms that are completely silent.

So do Hatcher and UGLI have private rooms too, or is it just the Duderstadt? What floor of the Duderstadt are these rooms located? Thanks.

The Grad has private study rooms in the stacks. The Dude also has study rooms; they're twice the size of the ones in the Grad. Its best to reserve one in advance (for the Dude).

I love the dude!!! It's so much more peaceful than the ugli and the lights aren't as bright and annoying.

Go to the law library. There will be other people there, but no one makes a SOUND

What's the policy with the law library? I've heard that only law students are allowed to use it, so have never tried to go in. Is that true, or is it open to anyone? It looks pretty nice from what I've seen.

the law library, definitely.

The Law Library is open to all students, but only Law and B-School students have access to the wireless network there. The atmosphere at the Law School is pretty cool because its completely silent even though you're studying with dozens of other people in a giant room. I recommend you try it (at least once before you graduate).

Thanks, I'll make sure to try it out sometime.

I personally like the study carrels in the Grad, but its been so damn cold this winter that I've barely left my apartment. I also like to study in empty rooms in Mason Hall sometimes.

The wireless thing is not true at all, I am an undergrad and have studied there. You just connect to UM Wireless or UM Central

I know the absolutely best place to study on campus where noone will ever bother you and where it's unbelievably comfortable and condusive to studying. Of course I'd never share my location with anybody. :-)
