Placing out of BIOL 101L but not BIOL 101

<p>So AP scores came back and I got a 4 in AP Bio. I am a Chemistry Major intending to take the Biochemistry track, and I am premed. </p>

<p>I feel as if it is a good idea for me to retake BIOL 101 even though I have credits for it because it will be good preparation/review for BIOL 202 and the MCAT. I also am going to take CHEM 101 with lab first semester, and I hear it's a bad idea to get stuck with two labs first semester. </p>

<p>Would you recommend I place out of BIOL 101L and just take the course?</p>

<p>Don’t retake BIOL 101. Just not worth it… I always recommend retaking CHEM 101, but it just isn’t necessary for Biology, imo.</p>

<p>I dunno. Bio 101 was really tough but also one of my favorite classes at Carolina. Can you get into the honors section? Even if you’re not in honors, email and ask. Explain the situation.</p>
