I know that colleges don’t really care about scores on these two tests but my school records them anyway (PSAT 10th grade score not 11th). Will this hurt me in any way?

The PSAT in 10th Grade I know cannot hurt you, UNLESS it is the test you use for national merit status

The PLAN can't really hurt you either because all it does is give you a prediction of your ACT score. The PSAT from 10th grade is more useful than the PLAN.

But the PLAN gives you super-specific career suggestions! It said I should be a forest ranger! ::eye roll::

PLAN can't do anything.
PSAT can only help.

Ok my school is recording them anyway but it's nice to know that those subpar scores don't affect admissions although colleges will still see them.

Don't worry about those scores. There's a reason colleges don't even mention them. The PSAT's are only important for national merit stuff, which helps if you have it, doesn't hurt you if you don't. I did fine college-wise, and I completely bombed my PSATs. They're not really that great a prediction of test scores (SATs/ACTs) either, (I did fine on those) and colleges know that, so these tests don't have much value for anyone but you.
