Does any one has experience or knowledge about music schools in Canada?

Without knowing your instrument or discipline, hard to address specifics. McGill is a world class progam. U Toronto is also highly respected. Some other options here

im intend to study a BMus voice performance

McGill is often a high level choice for a number of top instrumental candidates, particularly strings. I have no background or experience that would enable me to assess a vocal program. Perhaps others here have additional info.

We visited McGill/Schulich and DS interest is Vocal Performance. The facilities are excellent. DS had good meetings with several faculty and liked them quite a bit. If you are interested in Early Music, they have a very strong program in that area, including vocal. Looking at Canadian schools for classical voice, I think McGill should be in your list. Another I have heard mentioned is the Unviersity of British Columbia.

I have heard mixed things about McGill, so have sent you a PM. Look at the University of Manitoba; Tracy Dahl is great. You should also look at the University of Toronto. Toronto itself is home to the Canadian Opera Company as well as the Glenn Gould School at the Royal Conservatory of Music. Alumni from U of T include, among others, Isabel Bayrakdarian, Measha Brueggergosman, Russell Braun and Adrianne Pieczonka.

We're scoping out possibilities for our D, who's interested in jazz performance/vocal.
Both McGill and UToronto were recommended to us.
Anybody with info on either of these schools or jazz programs?

My daughter was told to look at McGill as a possibility. Any information would be helpful. She is currently a vocal music major at a performing arts high school in the US. She would love to attend a program where she could focus on opera/have plenty of acting classes/ be in( or at least near) a large city/ and have lots of performance opportunities (not just choirs or chorus). My concern with McGill is that it appears to be a very large program -- would she have the performance opportunities as an undergrad that she yearns for. If you have other suggestions I would also be interested in those.

McGill should by no means be considered a "Plan B". The Schulich school is easily the top music program in Canada and, coupled with the university's academic standards for admission, quite possibly among the top 10 most selective programs in North America.

Can't speak to opera/classical but know several NY Jazz kids (horns and vocals) who chose McGill over US jazz schools (Purchase, Berklee, New School) and like it very much.
