Plan "B"

If Chicago doesn't work out, where will you be hoping to attend?

I'll start first:

Vanderbilt (2nd choice)
University of Michigan
University of Wisconsin - Madison
University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign (accepted)
College of William and Mary
Reed College
Andrews University
Rhodes College
Denison University

Probably, St. John's College...
Maybe, Bowdoin, Reed, or the University of Texas.

michigan, madison, wash u..who knows?

swarthmore. princeton. yale. dartmouth. rice or university of texas.

cornell, northwestern, emory, tufts, or wash u

Chicago (no. 1, duh)
Notre Dame
Dartmouth
Johns hopkins
WUSTL
Michigan
SMU

I'm at the point I really only think I'll get into SMU. I hope Chi-town and UND. I wish I had that choice!

Good luck, everyone.

William and Mary
George Mason
JHU
UVA
American
Community College
Workforce

Swarthmore
Yale (haha...like i'd get in there but not Chicago)
Michigan
Washington U
Northwestern

Swarthmore.

DePaul: already accepted. Obviously not as academically awesome as UChicago, but it has plenty of plusses. Similiar location, good programs for what I'm looking to do later in life...

Macalester: Not accepted; haven't even applied yet... but it's my second choice after UChicago.

Washu, Osu(honors), JHU, cornell, northwestern, univ cincinnati (med program), darthmouth, brown(maybe not)

oh and hey Eugene!

Hey wassup!

Son has already applied RD to Swarthmore, Brown, U Rochester, Brandeis, UVa, and UT.

It's interesting, and perhaps not surprising, that a number of U Chicago applicants also have Swarthmore on their list.

rice carnegie mellon or nyu

Reed- Forget the Ivy Leagues!
John Hopkins
NYU- just to say, I didn't try.

If this all fails, I am packing up and moving to Paris. Really.

University of Texas, U of Pennsylvania, NYU

University of Chicago
University of Pennsylvania
University of Michigan
Vanderbilt University/Cornell University
Tufts University
Johns Hopkins University
Boston College (accepted)
Case Western Reserve (accepted: near full scholarship)
Tulane University (accepted: free app)

Reach:
UChicago (#1)
Northwestern

Safety:
Loyola Chicago

Swarthmore, Reed, Brown, Yale, Lewis and Clark, Puget Sound, UC's (Berkeley, Davis, Santa Cruz)

Only safe bets are in-states. And I don't have a top choice, because I haven't visited anything east of me. But I do like Chicago.
