Contacted them. They said they are expecting to send out the next batch later this month.
I presume the new admissions officer for Plan II is just running behind schedule.
I’m out of state and haven’t heard anything back from general university, Plan II, or Turing.
So, I’m wondering if maybe some of us will hear tomorrow/Saturday. Please update us if you get news! 
I emailed the Plan II Admission Director, and she stated that they expect to send out their
next round of letters later next week. She also said that no Plan II rejection letters have yet been
sent, and that if a prospective student has applied to another college in addition to Plan II, it delays
the process.

This whole process confuses me. Since I haven’t been admitted to the general university yet, am I not even being considered for the Plan II batches that have been coming out? Similarly 40 Acres decisions come out today, how could I be selected as a semifinalist but not even accepted to the university?
Admission to “the general university” (as you put it) is actually the last consideration. They look at you for (in order) your first-choice major, second-choice major, and then Undergraduate Studies as the last-resort/default consideration.
When I emailed the director at the beginning of the month, she said the next batch will come out anywhere towards the end of January, so hopefully there will be some next week.
InvisibleInc- since there’s no official forum for it, when did you find out about forty acres?
Oh that was just a hypothetical, I haven’t found out yet. Emails are supposed to be going out today for 40 acres though.
I agree it is very confusing process. PastePotPete is helpful, but Plan II advises you to put Pan II as the second choice, so did the first batch ignore the advice?
@pualum, hopefully I am answering the question you posed in your most recent post: my daughter was admitted to Plan II in the first batch in late November and she put Plan II as her 2nd choice major.
@pualum, my son had the same experience. He put Plan 2 as his second choice and he was admitted to Plan 2 in early December. But it did come after his first choice had admitted him, so I don’t know if that makes a difference.
Guess we won’t be hearing until next week… Really thought the next batch would come today.
