First off, if you’re in this group, that puts you in the top 1% of UT acceptances roughly, which is probably close to the top one-half of one percent nationally, I would estimate, so great job!!! I’m pretty proud of son whose done this.
Second, if that is you, you most likely are also waiting to hear back on some other regular decisions. Please share, if you will, whether that is true for you. In our case, there are 2 regular decisions still pending, and 2 other already-accepted’s waiting on possible full tuition or full-ride scholarship results.
I’ve been told earlier today that PII students probably don’t need to worry about being early for freshmen orientation, and if you are PII AND DS, it’s even less of a concern since you wont be in any of the over-subscribed general ed required classes.
Is anyone hearing otherwise, or have different insight? Hesitant to put down the $277 while not yet 100% committed since our financial situation is tight.
