@Kepler1z Yes I was auto admit. Submitted honors app (Plan II and BHP) on the 15th. Accepted to Mccombs mid November. Accepted to Plan II yesterday.
I have a friend who received his acceptance letter from Plan II yesterday who was non-auto admit.
Mail carrier finally delivered our mail Sunday (today) after 2 days of no delivery. Daughter is in!!! Like @brookelr she is auto admit, submitted Plan II and BHP, admitted to McCombs and now accepted to Plan II.
@Kepler1z I was not auto (top 8%) and received my acceptance on friday 
S was not an auto-admit and was accepted yesterday. He heard about his major in November. Super excited!

My stats are decent, but I think my essays helped considerably because writing is my strong point.
GPA: 4.5/5.0
Rank: 65/802
SAT: Math - 730, CR - 800, Writing - 750
Also have numerous national and state awards in future business leaders, fine arts, writing, & athletics
I think the admissions officers noticed that I sacrificed rank to participate in art, orchestra, etc.

@stanzirowe oysterfull put it well when they said that they sacrificed rank to pursue interesting classes or extracurriculars. My guess is all of the applicants have great ACT/SAT test scores and stellar grades but it is the extracurriculars and level of writing in the essays that push you over to the admit pile. Don’t worry, so many kids last year didn’t hear until February. I bet you have tons of other options!
People who have received your acceptances, have your portals updated? I live pretty far from Texas, so it might be a little while before I receive anything in the mail.
@sakura1 Portal has not updated but letter says to accept on admissions tab of portal so it will eventually!

Just got my acceptance letter today. I’m from Dallas and I was worried after not receiving anything for 2 days. My portal hasn’t updated either
Got my acceptance letter from Plan II in the mail on Saturday! I also got a phone call from BHP that I was accepted today! My portal hasn’t been updated for either.
Submitted App: October 14th
Accepted into McCombs: Novermber 18th
Acceptance Letter from Plan II: December 10th
Acceptance phone call from BHP: December 12th
Rank: 13/669 (auto admit)

ACT: 32
EC’s: yearbook editor in chief, class prez, service orgs, church + lots more little stuff
Got into BHP today and Plan II on Saturday!!! My portal isn’t updated either. At least for BHP, they said that it’d be up by Wednesday!

Just wanted to let those who may be out of state or who have had mail issues that my “myStatus” has been updated has been updated to say “You are accepted to Plan II.” Hopefully some of you have surprise messages waiting for you!

I hoped to get the plan 2 decision this week, because i got into upenn ED and i have to withdraw by january 9th, before the second batch
