<p>My d applied to Plan II only, no other honors programs at UTAustin. She was accepted to UT but has not heard from plan II yet. They did contact her last week and ask for another teacher recommendation. Evidently the original recommendation was not entirely legible. So another teacher kindly and quickly wrote a glowing review (she let my d read it). We'll see.</p>

<p>I applied to Plan II and Engineering Honors. Txmom, Plan II decisions should be mailed in late march/early april and I would assume the same for scholarship decisions as well.</p>

<p>so plan 2 is a major along with say engineering? (I sort of knew that but didn't think of it as a double major)</p>
<p>right, plan II is its own major and you can double it up with, say, an engineering degree. If I get into plan II, that's what I'm hoping to do.</p>
<p>I applied to both Plan II and Dean's Scholars (the Natural Science's honors program) and was accepted to both. I just received notification of DS and my plan II letter arrived a couple days ago. Does anyone plan on attending either of these at UT?</p>

<p>ronaldo--I submitted my Plan II app January 20th ish (deadline was Feb 1) and my Dean's Scholars app online the night before it was due (oops) on Feb 14th, (deadline Feb 15), evidently, that didn't matter any . . .</p>

<p>It depends on where else I am accepted, but right now Plan II and engineering at UT are hard to pass up.</p>
