plan to take AP tests in may?

i was wondering whether the UC application asked if we were planning to take AP tests in may 2006 because i clearly remember writing down my AP testing plans in the common apps but not the uc apps.

this is somewhat important because i'm not really in the mood to take ap tests this coming may.

yes. and it asked u to list the ones u were taking.

i don't think it'll be that important if you ditch 1-2. anything larger than that might have an effect. i'm dicthing 1 and e-mailing them just to make sure, although i'm pretty sure it's OK (someone e-mailed UCLA and they said it was fine, i doubt Cal is diff.)

EDIT: what is the e-mail addy i use to e-mail Cal? I can't find it anywhere...

The UC App asks what AP classes you are taking, not what tests you are planning on taking. It does ask what AP tests you took prior to applying though. I just looked at my app.

i got a 1, 2, and 3 on the AP's i have previously taken. i highly doubt it will be important.

well, if you get 4 or 5, you get credits for them...and save $$ and skip few classes??? and possibly graduate a little more early than you might have w/o those extra credits?

for the uc app, you could have listed the ap's you're GOING to take by simply checking the year as 2006 (this was an option, although i didn't see it until checking my app in the final stages). other than that, there was no option to state which ap's you were going to take...so i don't think it's a big deal since i guess a lot of people missed it like I would have....

yeah i know u can skip some classes but im never motivated to study and it isnt part of the admissions process i think..

jeeze and i thought i was the only one who do bad on ap tests... i have to take ap lit this year and econ/gov as well as ap french, my biggest concern are lit and gov/econ since its english + humanities courses that will be passed :O
