Planned AP Tests

So I was accepted into the College of Letters and Science, and I was just wondering my acceptance can be revoked if I don’t take all the planned AP tests I put on my application. I listed 4, but will only be taking 3 this coming May. On my CalCentral dashboard it has one of my tests saying “initiated” with a scheduled due date to be 7/15. I’m really excited about my acceptance, but I’m getting worried now about this. Should I contact the admissions office when they open back up next week?

As long as you pass the AP classes Senior, UCB will not care if you do not take all the AP exams. They are only for college credit and not used in their admission decisions.

Oh okay. I’ve heard this before, it’s just that seeing it on my dashboard startled me. I thought that if it wasn’t that important why would they have it already scheduled with a due date and everything. This gives me reassurance. Thank you.

Said I would take 5, didn’t take a single one, current junior at Berkeley.

I’m in the same boat right now. It says I’m going to be taking ap government test but I decided not to a long time ago. Does anyone know how to get that off of my time line and add a new test in the place of it?

If you aren’t taking one of AP tests you said you were going to take in your application, just let admissions know just to be sure. It isn’t a big enough reason to be rescinded, but it doesn’t hurt to be safe. And @qwertyuiop91 just email admissions. Emailing for help usually solves the problem at most times if there even is a problem at all
