Where do you go to see all the course requirements for your specific major? And how is everyone calculating all the classes they need to take?

[2010-11 General Catalogue Index to Academic Programs and Courses](<a href=“UCI General Catalogue Archives”>UCI General Catalogue Archives)

great place to start

select your intended major and read on, it should list the reqs for your major along with a sample schedule usually.

Now planning your ge’s can be a bit tougher but that info is also in the catalog

further questions are welcomed

here is the link for the ge’s

<a href=“UCI General Catalogue Archives”>UCI General Catalogue Archives;

has a listing of classes that satisfy each ge req area

here is the link detailing what passing each ap gets you

and finally the ib chart
http://www.admissions.uci.edu/youre_admitted/ib_chart.html

oh, this was one of the questions i had in mind, since my spop is end of this month.

thank you so much!

Here’s a very helpful website: [Ant Planner](http://antplanner.appspot.com/)
Don’t forget it! :)

Make sure your degree audit is updated / ask your counselor (it’s in student access). I don’t really bother much with counselors because my counselor has always updated my degree audit, it’s a really useful tool. It will list GE requirements, Major & school requirements, and you can request to add minor requirements… It also lists some/all possible courses to fulfill those requirements

that ant planner link is also very helpful for figuring out what classes (based on timing) to take for the quarter. it makes things easier, but some people still prefer to write it out themselves or use excel…

does anyone know if zotscheduler is just dead now? antplanner looks better anyways, minus the fact that i don’t think it can save your schedule?
