Hey im new on this site. So im planning on going to Northwestern State University and my major being Electrical Engineering Technologies, but i idk what would be good my minor? Any
help?

One you are interested in. It won’t help you get a job very much.

Math is always a good minor for engineering majors. As an engineering major, you will find yourself taking a lot of math courses. By the time you are done with the math courses within the engineering curriculum, you will easily find yourself only one math class short of a minor.

What kind of math classes, like trig or cal etc.?

Usually Calc, linear algebra, and differential equations are required in engineering. I’m not sure about engineering technology.

im aright at math, so i would have to study but i was thinking, what i take Information Sciences as my minor?

I would get your minor in whatever you find most interesting or in something you want to learn more about. From what I understand, a minor usually doesn’t help much when getting a job, so only get a minor if you really want one.

oh ok well i might take that information class or a business minor or nothing.
