Planning Senior Year: NEED HELP

Junior Year
AP English Language and Comp
Spanish 3 H
AP US History
AP Biology
Pre Cal H
Varsity Tennis
Decathlon
Clubs with positions (Treasurer/Public Relations)

I literally crashed and burned this year. I kept up with grades, but my sleep debt caught up to me. I had multiple anxiety attacks that led to hospitalization the week of AP exams. I was unable to make them up due to a missed deadline. I plan on taking the 3 AP exams I missed this year since I put so much time into them. For senior year I was wondering if I should quit tennis (varsity two years)? It takes up about 4 hours of practice each day and some time during weekends. I totally neglected the ACT and SAT this year. Also, tennis requires summer workouts and training. I quit band after two years as well and replaced it with tennis. I just don't want colleges to see that I'm an uncommitted person. (sorta am) I want to go all out on studying for Decathlon/APs/SATs, but wouldn't colleges dislike someone who just studies all day? I plan on applying to UC's (Davis, Berkely, etc.)

Senior Schedule (tentative):
AP Eng Lit
AP Calculus
AP GOV
Spanish 4
Physics
TA

THANKS EVERYONE. Any feedback is great!

Stay in Tennis! You need to show consistency with your passions.

It seems apparent that 3 APs were too much for you, so why do it again?!?
If I were you, I’d lighten up on the schedule. Especially, AP Calc. I’ve heard it is a lot of work. Does your school offer regular Calc? If not, maybe you should try AP Stats? Still an AP but notoriously easier. I don’t think that your physical and mental health are worth the stress.

Hey thanks for the feedback! It was mainly APUSH that took all the time. I abhor history, but I really wanted to ace the exam for all the hard work I put in. AP Gov at our school is tremendously easier than APUSH. There is no comparison in the homework load. Math is my favorite and best subject so that is why I decided to try AP Calc.

I think you should stick with tennis. I took ap gov this year, and I found it fairly easy, but I had an awesome teacher. It’s a semester course at my school, and I feel like a got a 5 on the exam. Keep the Calc. Ap lit will probably be easier for you because you’ve already take. Ap Lang. The APs you’re taking are not as homework heavy as the ones you took as a junior.
