Planning to double major in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science

I don’t know if this is a good idea. The two kind of go hand in hand together so most of my classes will overlap but what kind of jobs can I get?

What do you think would be the advantage of doing that double major over just one of them, since they are so closely related? Also, check if such a double a major a is allowed. At my school, neuroscience majors could not do a minor or double major with psych or bio because of the significant overlap.

I don’t think either one of them particularly sets you up for a job, and I don’t think doing both of them will give you more job opportunities. These degrees would be appropriate preparation for some graduate programs. For jobs, if Cognitive Science is essentially Psychology, consider Psychology because employers are more familiar with that degree.
