Plans for Summer of 2011?

is it just me or is sumer more work than school?

For some reason, over the summer I’m really motivated to do anything school-related. For instance, I’ll read 30-40 books, but when school comes around, I can’t even push myself to read one book. The motivation vanishes.

Oh, the irony.

^I know what you mean. I definitely read like four times as many books for pleasure during the summer as I do during the entire school year.

I am doing nothing, really. YAY.
Reading a lot, writing a lot, running a lot, relaxing a lot, traveling with my family a little.

College Calculus, Advanced Computer Architecture & Assembly and possibly Engineering Physics at a local CC

Work on computer vision stuff.

Grad parties, going to Orientation, and traveling to India for about a month.

Otherwise, just the usual hanging out, sleeping in, watching TV, playing games, chatting, meeting with friends, etc.

Going to Evergreen Boys State for a week, working, BioMed research at Seattle Biomed, working, Interning at law firm hopefully, working, Working on my Speech and Debate stuff intensely, working, summer homework, working, Volunteering a lot, working, chilling.

art history tour of Europe!!!

and then a lot of relaxing and a bit of restaurant work. I have a pretty short summer because of how late my school gets out and how early my college starts.

Cruise with 4 friends. Trip for a couple of days to Orlando with best friend. WORK

I might tutor some kids for June. (INDIANS!)
Going to India to learn Hindi. (Will miss first two-three days of school. Heh.)

I will have a brown-filled summer.

Probably going to go to a few concerts, accepting an award, and volunteer two times a week at a hotline. :)

I’m going to be taking English 11, Music Theory, Spanish 4, and Pre-Calculus. And then SAT Prep.
