I'm going to Honduras for six weeks, not really sure what I"m going to be doing besides language school, anyone have suggestions?

I think working with your mom may turn out better
But I have a question for you.
I'm really interested in fashion design/business, so how were you able to get that internship? Any tips/suggestions? Anything would help, really. Where do you live? I understand if you don't want to answer that, but perhaps just the state? or in a PM?

haha, I'm really desperate right now. I both need and want to find more ways to pursue my "passion"

um crap. if you don't think that's enough, you're on some sort of crazy!!! Seriously, just the internship would be fine. You don't have to kill yourself! I don't really see how you balance the competitive cheer squad and a job and an internship and and and and ALL the other stuff! Colleges will understand that you had a year-round commitment to your team!

I'm maybe doing a two-week writing program in Iowa (if anyone has ever heard of it) and maybe an acting program at Shakespeare & Company in Massachusetts. Still don't know exactly. Probably volunteering at a local arts center. Sleeping. Being lazy. Figuring out where I'm going to apply. If I am extremely lucky, I might go somewhere interesting with my family (fingers crossed for Paris), but that's also up in the air. Oh, and my cousin's wedding!

Partying. Reading. Exercising. Shopping. Shopping. Shopping. Maybe interning at NIH again. Perhaps something to get some moneyyy.

Nothing too special. I just wanna chill... sleep a lot, that sorta thing.

hey bassmaster:

"I was admitted into the National Youth Forum of Medicine which i am going to. Its held for two weeks in UCLA and other prestigious colleges (whopping 2000$ tuition... shiat!!!!!!!). "

I went to that and it was virtually useless. Good experience, i guess, but definitely NOT worth the money. basically you're visiting a lot of hospitals/doctors and hearing some speeches, thigns you could do on your own time for free...

umm, have fun though.

Volunteering, sleeping, etc, etc.

going to virginia (my aunt and uncle came from the philippines)
community college courses
if im not lazy then maybe a job

im heading to college next year so i will probably just try to hangout with my friends this summer. i will be going to michigan and chicago for about 2 weeks to visit some friends and my family back there. that should be really fun. then in august i will be getting all my stuff together for school most likely. otherwise just hanging out with my family, possibly some small family vacations. oh yeah and sleeping lol.

I'm going to college in the fall, and even though my parents are helping me pay for tuition/room and board, I don't get any money for personal expenses... so I pretty much have to get a job. When I'm not working I'll just be spending a lot of time with my friends and family.

Going to go to either JHU's or Cornell's pre-college program.

I applied to TASP although I have no shot. I'll probably wind up interning at a law firm in NYC.

-going to an astronomy camp in Arizona for one week
-astronomy community service throughout July and August
-work in the library part time for a month
-visit colleges
