@RockComet YES OMG I WAS SO UPSET WHEN I WATCHED IT AND THE BATTLE WASN’T NEARLY AS EPIC AS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN!!!

[size=2] sorry I’m still seething with disappointment

@RockComet YES OMG I WAS SO UPSET WHEN I WATCHED IT AND THE BATTLE WASN’T NEARLY AS EPIC AS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN!!!

[size=2] sorry I’m still seething with disappointment

Too shortened.

@stargirl3 Nope, she was here till college but she learnt all about BS from a couple of friends who went to Exeter and now are at MIT … and told me to apply to Exeter. I found Groton myself…and turned it down myself :’(

@boardingschoolx You will think differently one day

@mrnephew too shortened, not enough explanation, not in front of all the people to see, unnecessary jumps from buildings… it could have been much more epic :/

@omgjusttellme I will only be happy when the battle is done in exactly the same way as in the book, same words same situation… They CANNOT make it better! Lol… I’m waiting for a Harry Potter anime that includes every single little thing in the book :3
we all are seething with disappointment

@omgjusttellme The ending though. :(( 8-|

LIKE IN THE BOOK THEY HAVE THIS POIGNANT ENDING WHERE HARRY TOUCHES THE SCAR AND HE REALIZES THAT IT HASN’T HURT HIM FOR A WHILE AND THAT ALL IS WELL. BUT THE MOVIE NEVER REACHES THAT EMOTIONAL CLIMAX AND LIKE WHY DOES IT END WITH THEM WAVING AS THE HOGWARTS EXPRESS CHUGS AWAY? (Is this a failed attempt at being deep???) THE ENDING DOESN’T GIVE US ANY FEELING OF RESOLUTION.

DAVID YATES, I’VE FOLLOWED THESE FILMS FOR SO LONG AND HOW DARE YOU FINISH IT OFF LIKE THIS

(sorry. I get overly passionate about Harry Potter.)

@boardingschoolx I know right! Those movies are a disgrace when compared to the books. And what about the Harry Ginny couple… They completely screwed it up. Ginny looks like the most stupid character whose biggest achievement is breathing in the movies. Ginny is completely awesome in the books :/

Omg know! We should probably move our Harry Potter rants to another thread, this is supposed to be about our plans for this summer…

I plan on rereading the Harry Potter series again!!

For me, it’s like rerererererereading it.

I love Ginny! I guess I can relate… poor, messy house (hey Mom!), older brother(s)… I must say that one is enough! :D

I rererererererererererereread it a week ago Letter from Hogwarts still lost :(

@stargirl3 well she was a real badass so of course you relate to her :3

@RockComet Yes. Ginny was so… wimpy in the films. I loved how Rowling depicted her in the books, though.

Yes, I’m fairly certain that my letter from Hogwarts got lost… Owls are not always the most reliable form of transportation.

FedEx once sent us a postcard via USPS saying they couldn’t find my house. :/

Lol what houses are you in pottermore guys? I’m a raven xp Always

Ravenclaw.

Gryffindor
At my current high school, there are 4 pods colored red, green, blue and purple (that divide the school up). For a senior prank, kids always talk about turning the school into Hogwarts (each pod a different house) and then hanging up a stuffed cat from the ceiling and writing on the wall in fake blood “the chamber of secrets has been opened”

I wish that was my school At my school there are way too many “Ew harry potter is stupid. How-can-you-read-such-a-thick-book” type of kids :/

Lame.

Yeah But there are gonna be a lot of cool kids that like hp at PEA so :p

Well, we get houses! So pumped for those.

Yeah… That is super duper cool :3 So much like hogwarts :’)
