<p>One thing about the old standards is that at least you know when to clap. With many of the modern pieces it can be quiet the guessing game. Often the players are almost walking off the stage before you know the piece is over.</p>

<p>It was a better concert,Anthony McGill was absolutely fantastic, that was my highlight. I wasn’t as thrilled with the Hebrides, felt it was too subdued, the cello concerto was decent (though I prefer other cellists style with the Saint Saens) and the Dvorak was a lot of fun:). It was pretty amazing they could pull it together in the time they did:)</p>
