<p>Well I know there's a lot of IM sports like for football and soccer and stuff, but is there anything for tennis? I played a lot of tennis in high school and I'd like to bring along my racquet and continue playing at UCLA.</p>
<p>there is club tennis but i heard they are pretty hardcore, I normally just play with my friends that I met through my floor or classes, a lot of people here seems to know how to play tennis :)</p>
<p>What do you mean by hardcore? I'm hoping I could find some friends who are willing to be play tennis on a regular basis (you know, at least more than once a week instead of people that play like once a month just to hang out or something) I know one of my roommates plays tennis and I asked him if he wanted to play with me when school started; he said maybe, but I doubt he'll be playing much as he was skeptical about bringing his racquet.</p>
<p>club tennis players are pretty good. i would say unless you were one of the top 4 or 5 players at your school, you're probably not going to be able to keep up with them that well. </p>
<p>there's a TON of people at UCLA who play tennis though, so don't worry. people will definitely play/practice with you. also, if you can't find anyone, you can sign up for tennis workouts (two hours twice a week) or tennis lessons at the wooden center for a fee.</p>
