<p>I don’t understand your argument. I mean there is a significant difference between the unethical behavior of the McCain camnp and the more ethical behavior of the Obama camp. </p>
<p>“Communiity service” is not relegated to those who are unpaid. That’s volunteerism. Paid community organizers I’ve worked with have had guns held to their heads, their lives threatened for trying to shut down open air drug markets, fighting huge bureaucracies to simply stop toxic dust from flying through the air killing their children.</p>
<p>If military people can be lauded for their service to the country and be paid, then community organizers are no different.</p>
