Thanks yall so much for your help! Please help me out ND has been my dream school since I was 4 years old!

Other schools I'm interested in: Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Boston College, Georgetown, UPenn, Villanova, University of Virginia, Wake Forest, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Michigan, Duke University, William and Mary, College of Charleston

act/sat low
(sat just your 2 part is bad)

otherwise you look golden. unfortunately it seems that nd really cares about sat/act scores (based on what i have seen on this forum)

Without a perfect resume, it almost seems a toss up to whom they pick. I think you have a above average chance if the scores go up, but either way good luck

“toss up”? Are you serious? Notre Dame does about the most thorough and personal application review process in the country, and unlike many other schools, does NOT just look at test scores as the bottom line. A thorough resume is necessary with strong points in a number of areas, and the essay is very important. Good students are a dime a dozen, especially with grade inflation. A rigorous academic courseload combined with service commitment, leadership and a true interest in what Notre Dame is all about is more important in the long run. I disagree with the above intensely. If ND wanted to, they could easily just fill up each class with 32 and aboves on the ACT, or 700 and aboves on the SAT. They don’t do that, because test scores aren’t everything.

bumpppp!!!

well, how did the retake on the tests go ??

RUDY RUDY RUDY RUDY RUDY RUDY RUDY RUDY RUDY RUDY RUDY RUDY RUDY RUDY

Subject tests are kind of low, but other than that your stats look good. The essays will be critical; I know one girl who had an amazing application (tons of service and service awards from her Irish Catholic school and parish, as well as high scores and a challenging schedule) but had bad essays and didn’t get in.

Other schools:
Matches: Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Boston College, Georgetown, Villanova, Wake Forest, University of Michigan, William and Mary
Low reach: UPenn, Duke University
Low matches: University of Virginia, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, College of Charleston

Notre Dame cares a LOT about test scores. I’d def retake. A lot of my friends are convinced it’s a straight numbers game here (It’s not) but I think they have a pretty severe test score floor for non URMs/athletes.

well the may sat was better…im at 2140 (1370) :frowning: still unhappy
im taking again in oct just to see if i can boost my scores to get over that 1400 hump

also, sat subject tests i took in june…us history 720 and math I 660
AP scores…eng lang (4) and us hist (5)
