<p>I'm an international student from SE Asia, please chance my ECs, I'm wondering whether this kind of ECs would get me anywhere? Am I suitable for Ivies? I'm still a junior so I still have this coming summer to add to this list :D</p>
<p>SCHOOL
Secretary and Vice President - Longest running member of Student Council - been in office for 4 years as a representative, in my junior year got unanimously elected by council members to Secretary and Vice-President (taking dual-position for now).</p>
<p>Head of the Community Services club, not involved in much community service myself, but I am responsible for organizing all the community service events around school.</p>
<p>Chief editor of school yearbook for 2 years.</p>
<p>I'm a school prefect too, that counts?</p>
<p>Head director, scriptwriter, and co-star of 7 secondary school theatre productions, (1 or 2 productions each year) I'm really proud of this wonderful experience and I guess it'll be the EC I'm going to elaborate on in my Common App short answer.</p>

<p>ISAT Chamber Musical Festival Finalist (it was a national competition to find chamber music groups to perform in a concert, you either got picked for the concert or you didn't, there isn't any real single winner. I was the pianist btw, our group got picked but most of us had other commitments on concert day so we didn't get to perform, quite regret it today actually)</p>
<p>Petch Yod Mongkut English Competition Finalist (Top 12) - National English competition involving more than 700 students from over 50 high schools across the country.</p>
<p>Competion of the Grade 8 (Highest Grade Level) of the Trinity College, London Piano Examination. I also plan to submit a music supplement on my application.</p>
<p>I've gotten quite a large number of school awards but they are school appointed and really sound cheesy so I guess I really wouldn't talk about them :P</p>
<p>OTHERS
Got a paid summer employment as an English and Math teacher at a local summer school - been doing it consecutively for 3 summers.</p>
<p>Military training - approximately 300 hours, am in the reserved army.</p>
<p>As for GPA, I've gotten 3.80+ out of 4.00 ever since junior high school, my school leaving exams are British A Levels, and I'm taking the SAT right this Saturday!</p>
<p>I really don't know how I'm doing EC-wise, I'm doing a lot of things, but none of them involve giving back to the community, or anything much with national recognition. How am I doing so far EC-wise? :)</p>
<p>Please recommend anything I could do this summer to help improve my ECs, thanks in advance!</p>
<p>PS: I'll really have to cut from my list to fit the Common App too, wouldn't I? I can already think of a few that could go xD</p>
