I'm basically set on NYU though I'm not sure whether I have a good enough shot at Stern to apply ED. Should I do that or be safe and apply ED to NYU Regular and transfer my sophomore year?

If you want to go to Stern I would recommend applying there ED. I'm not sure if you can check a box saying that if you do not get into Stern that you would like to considered for ED at NYU regular, but if that is an option you should go for it. While your stats are pretty competitive (awesome SAT, mediocre GPA, good ECs) I think that you will be competitive for Stern ED (ED will give you a huge advantage because I don't think you would get in at Stern with RD).
Good luck to you! Nail the essays and choose your teachers who will be writing recs wisely.

sorry I was just wondering, what's up with your strange SAT scores?
