<p>What CMU school are you applying to? What intended major? For CMU this matters more than for other schools.</p>

<p>ECE is electrical and computer engineering, probably the hardest major at cmu to get into, that is why i was asking</p>

<p>is it just Computer engineering or other majors like Chemical Engineering. What school would that be in?</p>

<p>ECE is not a school it is the major as an acroynm, it is in CIT, carnegie institute of technology which contains chemE and every other engineering major</p>
