Please advice me if anything can be done..

<p>I am a senior from India. </p>

<p>I have been playing soccer for over a decade now and I used to be on my school's soccer team. However, I changed schools when I entered grade 11 and I haven't played on a competitive level for around a year and a half. (That is, I was not a part of the soccer team at my new high school due to academics being my sole priority <parents' decision="">. Not only was I not a part of the school soccer team, but I was not playing with any club either, and played soccer strictly as a hobby for this period.)</parents'></p>

<p>I am confident that in terms of skill, I am good enough to make it to a varsity soccer team . However, I do not have the awards/achievements to be considered to be 'recruited'. </p>

<p>Please advice me if I can/should try talking to coaches at this stage. (I have indicated in EACH of my supplements that I intend to play soccer for the college I attend, but I guess that does not count at all) Please help me as to what my next step should be.</p>

<p>I would email the soccer coaches at all of your target colleges explaining your situation and expressing a desire to play at the college level, asking if there is anything they can do to advise you.</p>
