<p>If you look at some of the threads on these boards in April, there were a lot of surprise results. It is prudent to have some school on ones list that are likely to take you. Once you have a school in your pocket, hopefully early with rolling admissions, you can eliminate all schools you don’t like as much as that or those schools off your list. But to have a list of all highly selective schools without at least a safety on the list is foolish.</p>
