<p>I already have two recs, one from a science and one from a humanities teacher.</p>
<p>Should I also get a supplemental rec? Will this be beneficial/necessary for top schools such as HPY? I know supplemental recs are allowed, but I don't know if they are expected. If they are, I guess I would get another teacher...</p>

<p>If they provide a form for an optional/supplemental rec, then you can do it. But top schools get so many applications that they really can't be expected to read ever piece of unasked-for supplemental material that applicants send in.</p>
<p>Only get a supplemental rec if you think you need another one. If the third rec is going to showcase NEW aspects of your achievements/personality.</p>
