Please answer quick question!!

What action do i have to do in order to be exempt from the ept and elm for csu's. I would be exempt because of sat scores.

such an easy question…

…

such a simple question how can nobody answer it?

this website seriously sucks…

We’re not answering because we don’t know. I’m sure this information is readily available if you’re willing to look around websites.

i’ve done that. and how does no one know this is a college website. Shouldn’t one of the 200’000+ students that attend csu’s know the answer to my question.

stop having an arrogant attitude. Not everyone on this website is well aware of CSU. Stop whining. do your own research

Well, that sure is going to get people to want to help you, isn’t it?

I’m sorry, but we’re all people, too. Not all of us know every answer to every single question out there.

Perhaps you could start by removing the abbreviations from your post. Almost any 3 letter abbreviation has about 50 different meanings. That said if the question is so easy why do you need the people here to answer it? This forum is here mainly to help guide people through the college admission process. It then follows that those posting answers have a decent general knowledge of the admissions process but for questions about specific schools or even school systems their knowledge may be limited. If I were to ask you the admission requirements for transfer students at CMU for their CS dept would you know off the top of your head?

ok but this is a pretty general question. Are there really no students on this website. i dont buy it. You don’t think i’ve tried to find it. Does sending my test scores to them provide enough information to exclude me from the tests? And you dont have to ■■■■■ my thread either. What are you contributing besides spamming.

Can’t you go to the CSU area and post this?

What do those acronyms mean???

Oh hey, would you look at this? I went to google, typed in “ELM EPT” and the first link…

[CSU: About the CSU Placement Tests](http://www.ets.org/csu/about)

I click on the links for EPT and ELM:

[CSU: EPT](http://www.ets.org/csu/about/ept)

[CSU: ELM](http://www.ets.org/csu/about/elm/)

And doing a little more looking around that website, it seems as if you can send your SAT scores (or whatever) to them to be exempt.

And since apparently CSU = California State University, perhaps it was better to put it in that forum? Or, as some others have suggested, to write out the acronyms?

That took about five minutes of looking. About five seconds to find it. Great researching skills.

I apologize if I sound snappy, but why don’t you try adjusting your attitude a bit, especially if you’re looking for help? A little respect, patience, and courtesy can go a long way. (:

EDIT: And for those of you curious, EPT = English Placement Test and ELM = the Entry-Level Mathematics Test. For CSU = California State University. They’re placement tests. Yay google. (:

trust me i did look, i just didn’t type something so general into google because normally you get way too many responses that don’t relate at all to what i was looking for. And i did wait over a day…

Next time, please try Google before you get angry at members of a forum.

CSU:
Colorado State University
California State University
Cleveland State University
Chicago State University
Charleston Southern University
Columbus State University

…
Colorado Springs Utilities? :D
