<p>i know you can decline for honors, but other MLCs, i’m not so sure.</p>
<p>Don’t quote me on this but: applying to an MLC is part of your housing app. When you send in your housing app, you will be assigned to a dorm based on your preferences listed in the housing app. If you get accepted to an MLC, you will be assigned there. If you don’t get in, you will be assigned somewhere else. If you choose to decline the initial housing offer, regardless of whether it has to do with an MLC, you will be put at the back of the list chronologically, meaning you will get stuck with whatever’s left. So basically you can turn it down, but if you’re not sure of whether you want to go through with it, know that if you decline, you will get a bad dorm. Also, consider that you might take the spot of a kid who really wants to go to that MLC.</p>
<p>Out of curiosity… which MLC are you thinking about declining?</p>
<p>I’m not declining. I just wanted to see what options I would have if something were to come up. I’ll be happy to get accepted.</p>
