Please answer this question?

Assume I am applying to a top tier school.

Is it better to apply ED with a 3.5 or RD with 3.66 after the first semester. I know either way they would be below the schools average but I'd like to know which would be more beneficial.like.if ED really is worth it. By top tier I'm talking the likes of low ivies and top publics. Please leave me an opinion on which is better

I doubt it will make a substantial difference either way, but a solid senior year will probably make the latter the better option.

Thank you for you opinion. Any others?

i would wait and do rd

Thanks! Bumppppp

Do regular decision but make sure it’s a rigorous load  if you take all easy classes to raise your GPA then it looks bad. Don’t get your heart too set on any particular school. Good luck with applying  answer mine?

It depends on what kind of classes that you are getting B’s in, and where you are relative to everyone else in your class.

If everyone in your class has around the same GPA, and you’re top 5% or so, go with either. If you have a low grades in the hardest classes, it will be seen as a bit better. Low grades in easy classes will always look bad, when you have a GPA such as yours. Since ED has a higher acceptance rate, it could be beneficial to apply to your ED school, even with your current grades.

Thanks guys!!!
