Would it make me look like a joke if I dropped AP Calc and took an easy computer applications course in it place? This year is already my easiest year..it looks like:

Keyboarding
Journalism
Honors Chem
Stats
Honors Brit
Adv. Pe 1
Honors US 2

Then...I'm enrolled in Ap Calc. I can probably handle it, I just don't know if I feel like it. My choices are computer applications 1, honors spanish 4 (the hardest teacher ever, definitely a GPA dent if I take this course), or AP Chem(I would love this course, but they had a massive summer assignment I would need to do and all that) I could also go to Honors Calc, but thats even harder than AP due to the teacher. My friend gave me a severe warning against this one.

Plus..there are a TON of people in AP Calc since its only offered once..like 30 + people and they will probably kick juniors out first, so I might volunteer. Do you think I would look like a goon to colleges with so many joke courses junior. I took only 1 joke class frosh year and only 1 soph year and plan on no more than 2 senior year due to all the aps.

depends. if you take ap chem instead it won't look bad. but if you take something like keyboarding, colleges will point and say "slacker," unless your major is typing.

Take either AP Chem or AP Calc, but not neither. I think it's best to stick with Calc, though, unless you want to go the Chemistry way in college.

Keyboarding was NOT my idea. I tried my hardest to avoid that one. I wanted to take honors US 2 and APUSH, but first semester honors us 2 was full, so I couldn't do that. Comp Apps I kind of want but yeah. I really did not want keyboarding although it was relaxing.

Another thing, we need several elective credits to graduate

We need 6 elective courses to graduate. I have art 1, painting, keyboarding, and journalism. That means I need 2 more. I want to take like 4-5 APs senior year and 2 electives. If I took Comp Applications, that would mean I'd have 7 electives upon graduation with 6 required. How bad would that look?

EDIT: I want pre-med or neuroscience, so AP Chem is probably more important but I don't know how major the summer assignment was/if I could do it still.

I was hoping someone would say "Oh, Computer Applications is much more important than AP Calc. The collges definitely prefer to see you taking fun courses as opposed to ones that actually make you think." but I guess that's what I get for asking for honesty.
