I've been a Wharton hopeful since i was 11 lol please post what you think to help ease my tension even a little. Anything is appreciated! thanks

looks good bro but you can never tell with Ivy leagues, our valedictorian got rejected from Penn so who knows. I would say a reach but not impossible. I'm actually in a very similar situation to yours, medical condition during soph year hurt my rank and GPA, my GPA right now is a 3.85 i'm also applying to Wharton but not ED, good luck with your admissions, we all need it lol.

yea it sucks when you want to go to such a competitive school then something happens and throws your grades off. GL getting in, hopefully i'll see you on campus next year

possible, but a lot of times wharton doesn't actually like people with too many business related activities. They like people to find their passions in the school, but also have experimented with many different things. plus your sat scores are a bit on the low side. are you a URM?

no, i'm a first generation american but that's about it. Both my parents came from italy and i wrote about the huge cultural differences between here and there, figured it might help me stand out. Lol but i really hope my great interest for business doesn't hurt me in business school admissions.

bump....come on guys. let me hear your opinions

Wharton is extremely competitive, so I personally wouldn't count on this, especially since you don't exactly stand out too far from the rest of the pack, and certainly not of the people who'll be applying to Wharton with you.

i was hoping that the forming of my own company and earning a good deal of investments would help me stand out, particularly at a business school, do you guys think that'll help or that's just standard for wharton applicants?

Would you say a Seimens semifinalist with mostly science oriented ECs, but say with also DECA, would have a good shot at Wharton?

provided if they hav solid gpa/scores of course.
