- Volunteen Program at Emory Eastside Hospital (110 hours/ 2009) – I volunteered in both the Histology Department and the Joint and Spine Department. This experience truly set my goal to attend medical school and one day work at a great hospital like Emory Eastside’s.

were you an officer in anything?

Northwestern: mid- to low- reach
Vandy: mid-reach
Emory: mid- to low- reach
Cornell: high- to mid-reach
UMichigan: not too familiar but probably match
Johns Hopkins: high- to mid- reach

I might be overly skeptical at the moment though. Especially if you were an officer in any one of those various clubs.

You made a good, realistic list of schools. Also, soccer stuff is very impressive- I played club volleyball and 32nd nationally is pretty impressive (if the sports’ organizations are comparable, I am assuming they are)

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/782305-emory-rice-usc-duke-princeton-etc-chances.html

Northwestern: can’t really say, but I would be leaning towards an acceptance. I have had friends doing much less who have gotten in, and others who are school maniacs who have gotten rejected so…

UMichigan: In for sure
Johns Hopkins: Again, leaning towards an acceptance, but it is unclear
