I know my standardized test scores are mediocre compared to the average applicants to these universities (around the 20-40 percentile), but can my GPA make up for it? My LORs will be pretty nice, as I'm confident that the two teachers I got to write my letters (social studies and biology) wrote really nice letters. I also have some nice hooks with a whole LOT of ECs and community service. So now that you know all this about me, what do you think?

I beg you- please look beyond my standardized test scores when chancing me

Thank you for your time I greatly appreciate it- WILL CHANCE BACK!

Bump…

You have strong ECs, all right…

Tufts: High match
NYU Stern: Match
WUSTL: High match
NWU: Reach
Vanderbilt: High match
Rice: High match
USC Marshall: High match
UMI Ross: Match
Boston College: Match
Emory: Match

What’s your safety anyway?

U of Florida- is that too risky?

Bumppppppp

come on…

U Florida: Safety

thanks- bump!!!

bump…

come on!!!

seriously- no chances?!

okay now this is just freaking ridiculous…

Tufts: Match
NYU Stern: Match
WUSTL: High match
NWU: Reach
Vanderbilt: High match
Rice: High match
USC Marshall: Match
UMI Ross: Low match
Boston College: Low match
Emory: Match

You should get into one of them at least.

well I actually did get into Michigan, really wondering where else I can get into

I think you have decent chances at Emory, BC, Tufts, Michigan, Northwestern, and Vandy. Rice, USC Marshall, and NYU Stern probably aren’t as likely because the schools/programs are more competitive, but I’d be pretty optimistic! This whole process is pretty random but you are definitely a good candidate.

Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1430767-i-swore-i-wouldnt-give-ask-chances-but-here-i-am-pton-rice-emory.html#post15191854

thanks for the chance!

bump…

i think you have a good chance at most of them EXCEPT northwestern, you should also add one or two safeties because almost all your choices are a match. I think your ECs can easily make up for the kinda low test scores and they wont hurt you that much.
chance back please?
