UC apps are different from Common Apps and you’re not supposed to give them recommendation letters.</p>

<p>Your stats seem good and your definitely knocking on the doors of UCLA. Try to make your essays the best they could possibly in. 85% Acceptance in my opinion.</p>

<p>I think your odds are 60/40. Being from New Jersey really helps as the California admit rate is 17%, and I think OOS is ~30%. You have a very good shot.</p>

It looks very good that you have not only overcome the challenges you faced earlier in your high school career but you are also doing all you can to help others who are facing the same challenges. Your volunteer work is very personal to your experience which shows passion and dedication. I recommend that you talk about this in your essay if possible. All the best to you!</p>
