Biology
US history
English
Will take Calculus BC, Physics in senior year</p>

<p>ECs:
President of a club that helps lending funds to entrepreneurs in third world countries.
Member of Red Cross, UNICEF
Intern at Stanford Institute of Medicine Summer Research Program (SIMR ) 2011
Tutor Math and English at local tutor learning center</p>

<p>Voluntary works:
200+ hrs at local hospital
100+ hrs at Sacred Heart Community Service</p>

<p>She has an excellent chance as long as she communicates passion and drive in her essays and impresses her interviewer.</p>

<p>While she obviously has the grades and test scores for Harvard, unless she has a stand-out ‘hook’ her chances cannot be predicted as excellent. Plenty of valedictorian, 2400 applicants are turned down by Harvard every year. (See 2015 class results thread.)</p>

<p>Here, ‘hook’ is defined as URM, recruited athlete, legacy, or development case. That said, if the OP’s DD continues on her path of acdemic success and her ECs are judged as significant, and her recs are outstanding, essays empassioned, she has a chance.</p>
