Please Chance a Mississippian for UCLA

Hi, I'm a Mississippi junior in high school. I would like a quick chance for UCLA. I don't know how often out-of-staters are accepted to UCLA, but I would love to get any feedback you may have. Here are the stats:

GPA: 4.0 (weighted is 4.1)
Class Rank: Top 5% (maybe between top 2%-3%, but not certain)
ACT: 28 (Writing: 7)
Honors/APs: 6 honors (mostly English and Math) and 4 APs (2 historys, 1 English, 1 Math)
Those are all the Honors and APs my school offers. It's a rural high school with not a whole lot to offer.

Extra-Curricular stuff:
Quiz Bowl (4 years, will be Captain senior year)
Beta Club (3 years)
Band (Marching, Concert, and Jazz; 4 years)
Sophomore class President
MS Lions All-State Band (most prestigious in the state; 1 year so far)

Any advice or help at all would be great! Thanks!

ACT needs to be 32+ and you’ll have a good chance.

The real question is, can you afford 50k every year? There is no financial aid for OOS students.

I sure they don’t get many applicants from Mississippi, so that will help. Yor sores are a bit low, but ou have a fighting chance f you took yor school’s hardest lasses. Leah is correct, you need to be able to pay the $55k/year minus any federal aid.

Thanks, y’all. To be perfectly honest, I don’t really plan on going to UCLA. I just wanted some feedback because I used to want to and I’d at least like to apply to see if I would’ve gotten in. I might not apply though because of the application fee and everything like that, but just wanted to see. Very much appreciated, thanks again!
