SAT II 720 Math II, 740 Literature, 770 US History (planning to take Chinese w/listening in november, expecting 780-800)
Major Extracurriculars:
Paid intern for Mark Dayton, MN's state governor (he is writing a personal recommendation letter for me)
Mock Trial: runner-up state champions in 2009, state champions and national champions in 2010, state champions and 8th place in nationals in 2011
Science Research: 400+ hours in lab, siemens semi-finalist 2011
Editor-in-Chief of school newspaper
A bunch of volunteer work w/nursing homes, elementary schools, etc. (around 400 hours total?)
Attended EPGY summer 2010</p>

<p>Don’t take the SAT II Chinese. (I explained why in your Yale post). I think you have a decent shot at Georgetown! Good luck! :)</p>

<p>I’d say your chances look pretty good. Scores are great, Great Mock Trial success, etc. App. would be stronger if in the top 10% gpa.</p>

<p>I think you have a really good shot. It’s a really well-balanced application. As long as your essays were great, you’re a shoe in.</p>

<p>Let me just say I am glad I don’t go to your high school. If you are only in the top 15% with those stats, I would hate to be around all that competition. </p>

<p>Very solid application. Never know how things will turn out but it will not be because you were not good enough.</p>
