please chance a nervous rising senior

I have never posted here before, but I am super nervous about getting into college. NYU is my first choice. I am going to apply ED to CAS probably undecided. I will not need any financial aid if that helps

White female from a small private school in FL

GPA (UW): 3.73
GPA (W): 3.8
ACT: 31 C (30 S, 30 R, 34 V, 29 M, 9 essay)
SAT: 1340/2040 (690 M, 650 CR, 700 W)

Senior courses:
AP Environmental Science
AP Calc AB
AP Mod. Euro
AP Eng. Lit
H Statistics
Religion in pop culture

Clubs: (weak area)
3 years French club- no position held
3 years Writing tutor- director of tutor training
2 years student government- elected rep.
80 hours community service- most at animal shelter and tutoring papers

Recs- 1 teacher will be amazing, 1 good but may be more impersonal, great councilor rec

Other- I have an upward trend through high school. No honors classes fresh. year, 1 sophmore, and 3 junior year. I could not take APs until senior year. I also have one C from spanish 3.

hey! i’m applying ED to CAS, too! i’d say your chances are high. i think your standardized test scores are really going to help. the C in spanish probably won’t hurt too much. write a really good essay and i think you’ll probably get in.
good luck! hopefully i’ll see you there in about a year!

thanks! good luck to you too! this whole process makes me anxious. but I am excited too. I think my essay will be pretty good. Writing is one of my stronger points, but I am not doing anything too radical, just keeping it basic but with my own personal style.

also I know this is not NYU related but I was wondering how AP mod euro is viewed as far as difficulty. I really want to take it because it sounds interesting, but if it is thought of as a joke then I may reconsider…
