WILL CHANCE BACK!

Title: Please chance a CURRENT second semester transfer student for Fall 2011

Does the finaid mean you need finaid, other than federal?

I don’t think your stats are good enough for the UW School of Business, if that’s what you’re looking at.

kayf - yes

Greenblue - You’re probably right, but it was worth a shot, right? I understand public OOS is a lot harder than the private schools I am applying to.

What do you guys think about Bentley and Northeastern? Those are my “to die for” schools.

bump.

Please, somebody chance me for these schools!

can somebody PLEASE chance me?

update: accepted IU-Bloomington

Can somebody please give me some insight on the other schools?

update: accepted to DePaul

Can anyone please give me realistic feedback?!

bump10char

IMO, your internships/ECs are carrying you, because your GPA is average at best. Straight Bs, especially with a B average in high school, isn’t enough for Northeastern (I don’t think). But it sounds like you’ve had a couple acceptances already, so you’re in good shape regardless of the outcome.

You’re right, my internships are pretty strong, and if I don’t get into NEU, then that’s ok. I really don’t want to stay at UAlbany though. Only one of my acceptances I’m even looking at is IUB

Bentley University is my top choice. Can anyone chance me for Bentley?

Update: BENTLEY UNIVERSITY
Went to transfer session/tour
Had an interview with director of transfer admissions which went REALLY WELL. I think she likes me a lot. I know my grades aren’t spectacular, but what do you think of my chances now??

bump10char

I think you finaid at these places will be meager.

Dude you need to chill, do you think we really know the % increase in your chances based on you saying you had a conversation with someone at the school? Of course you had a good conversation with the Director of Transfer Admissions, you don’t get to be the director of admissions by being a jerk, generally people in that role have great people skills and are nice to everyone.

Just relax, enjoy your semester at SUNY and let the chips fall where they will. Good luck.
