<p>Hi there, I know I made like 2 chance threads awhile ago <.< and stuff but I'm just curious about my chances now since the flood of admissions letters are coming and making me a lot nervous D:. I appreciate it if I had some opinions :) whether they're positive and negative. I'll gladly chance back people who ask :).</p>

<p>Major: Business Admin Alt: Economics
UC GPA: 3.41 >.<(I have a big upward trend from (2.833 UW) 1st semester 11th and (3.67 UW)2nd semester 11th) and I didn't drop any classes :D.
SAT I: 2120 :D (4 tries the charm o.o?) 1st: 1860 2nd: 1820 3rd: 2000 4th: 2120
750 M
730 W
640 CR
SAT II: Math 2: 690 Chinese: 760 :)
AP Stats: 4
AP Psych: 4
EC: Sux <.< 2 years Track, 200+ community service
Etc: I had amblyopia(lazy eye), and had family problem(grandma passed away) Discussed in Essay and I believe it looks very good :D
Senior grades: 1st semester: 3.5 UW & 3.833 W(I have 2 weighted classes and NO C :D)
CC classes: <em>not part of UC GPA since i'm taking them senior year</em>
P.S I heard UC dont care what grades you get on the CC classes. Is this true?

<p>Honestly, your GPA is too low and IDK if your SAT will make up for it… so maybe.</p>

<p>Don’t they start to average your SAT scores after your third one? If so, your SAT score will average to about 1950.</p>

<p>In addition, your GPA is still low, even with the upward trend. </p>

<p>UCs do count community colleges courses in your UC GPA (of course, only if they are UC-transferrable and if they were taken during your sophomore and/or junior year). And if you are taking them during your senior year, you are to report any low grades from cc classes and also send in your cc transcript along with your high school transcript to the school you SIR to.</p>

<p>Oh, and I have a friend who had around a 3.3 GPA and a 2300 SAT score. He got in last week. So people with low GPAs but high SAT scores still have hope!</p>

<p>Thanks for all the feedback so far :slight_smile: junshik I don’t think. UCs do that since on the data page it only lists my 2120 :slight_smile: any other feedback greatly appreciated :D</p>

<p>I say 60%. People are acting like UCI is like UCLA. That Sat score should help you get accepted.</p>

<p>Bobaboi that’s not very nice :frowning: it’s just too new so they just need people for now. Well I still haven’t gotten in yet and so has alot of my friends so we’re all still a little worry :frowning: . What about my alternative major. I put down econ. Not business Econ just Econ. Well myapp says I put down Econ as an alternative should my chanc be alot higher :)</p>
