You aren't average, LOL.

none of those are reaches for you, so I suggest aiming a bit higher and take the SAT again?

Thanks for the vote of confidence, but you don't think BU is a reach?? Am taking the ACT in October -- have taken SAT twice and scores were almost identical so didn't see the point of a third try. May I ask what kinds of schools you think I should be aiming for?

Thanks so much.

yeah I mean BU as of now is a bit of a high match, but if you can get it up to mid-1900s, you'll have a better chance. I need to know what major your trying for though :) But yeah you should try the ACT stronly because I had a 1900 SAT(little bit higher than yours) then I took the ACT September and got a 31 which is roughtly about a 2100 on the SAT. So try that if you can. Lots of people perform better on the ACT

Like I said, SATs don't seem like they'd improve, but maybe the ACTs will yield a better result for me.

As for which college at BU, I'm torn between applying to SMG or CAS. Admissions people say that there's no difference in the stats to either school but my gut says otherwise. Where SMG is male-heavy, and CAS female dominated, I'd have to think I have a better shot at CAS and then possibly transferring after freshman year.

Do you have any thoughts on this?

Also, what other types of schools do you think I should be shooting for if you think I'm aiming too low?
