Please chance an underacheiving student in EXTREME NEED OF ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS

These next few months of my life are going to be the most important, and I need help from some of you more intelligent students on this board to answer my questions wholesomely and honestly!! Not that I'm not intelligent, but I definitely did not work to my ability during my tenure in high school. Although I worked hard, I could have worked harder to make my situation easier than it is now and I will always regret that. Anyway, I'm lost. I do not think grades and extracurriculars are nearly good enough to get into an Ivy League university, but they aren't as bad for me to settle for a sub-par state school. I'm somewhere in the middle and I need help. The only colleges I've visited are in-state Rutgers and Rowan, the latter of which I was unimpressed. I am heavily considering Rutgers, but this is the ONLY SCHOOL ON MY LIST. I believe I have a good chance at Rutgers, but I have no clue as to where I stand with other "prestigious" colleges around my area. I would like to know my realistic chances of getting into the prestigious colleges around my area, which will be asked later.

Here's a little about me.
Asian, male, live in NJ, want to be pre-med

wrestling- 1 year

my SAT's are horrendous
Critical Reading 520
Math 500
Writing 480

I was having a really bad night before the test and didn't do nearly as well as I should have, and I'm taking them again in October.

Community service
-relay for life (was like a one night stand or something)
-picked up trash
overall about 100 hours

I AM UNEMPLOYED. Don't know how important that is to colleges, but it can only hurt me.

chance me for:
Villanova
Syracuse
Maryland
USC
Washington
Lehigh
Boston
Pittsburgh
Clemson

Please be honest with your response. This may be a ridiculous post to you geniuses out there, but I'm lost. Thanks.

I think your grades are good enough for Rutgers, but your SAT score is going to hold you back. Have you considered the ACT? People who do well at school seem to have better luck on this test rather than the SAT.

If you have time, chance me please =)

I think you might be a match for Syracuse, despite your SAT's. Remember: colleges look at your entire application, not only your SAT scores.
