Please chance and critique me (Junior)

Please help me estimate my chances for the following schools: Carnegie Mellon, Duke, Stanford, Berkeley, Cornell, Maryland, Penn, Pitt, UIUC, Georgia Tech, Rose-Hulman

Objective[ul]
[]SAT: 2100
[]SAT II: Hoping for two 700+ in Math (I or II) and Chem
[]GPA: Should be right around 3.7 UW (tough freshman year)
[]Rank: N/A
[]AP: Took ~8 AP classes but did not take tests. I will take AP CS in May and I'll probably manage a 5.
[/ul]
Subjective[ul]
[]Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): JV Soccer (2 years) and Varsity Soccer (2 years, captain one), Varsity Track (1 year), Varsity Cross Country (1 year), Student Council (secretary), School Newspaper (editor), Environmental Club (Vice-President), National Honor Society.
[]Job/Work Experience: One summer at local grocery store, next summer at local web design company, and will intern this summer at a prominent software company in D.C. that does work for the government.
[]Volunteer/Community service: School has us do 25 hours each year. I will be finishing the 100 before my senior year starts in time for applications. In D.C. this summer, I'll dedicate myself to one place where I can do regular work on weekends.
[]Essays: I'm a decent writer and have a few memorable experiences I can draw from.
[]Teacher Recs: One teacher I have in mind loves me, still deciding on a second
[]Counselor Rec: Should be decent, don't really know him.
[]Additional Rec: Will try to get one from someone at the company I'm interning at in D.C. My dad has mentioned getting something from a from who had a very high government position, but I'm not sure as I don't know him very well personally and it could hurt me.
[]Hook (recruited athlete, legacy, Nobel Prize): N/A
[]Personally run a few informational web sites. Together, they have brought me several thousands of dollars in advertising income and that number may very likely rise to a 5 digit number by the time of application.
[]I have done freelance web design and programming in the past. I'm starting to work on a little freelance company to do all that under. Although it will still be a sole-proprietor operation, it will be more official company with a dedicated site and portfolio. It will mainly be a web design and Android app development company. I've heard that schools really like this kind of entrepreneurial thing and I'd love doing it anyway.

I know I'm optimistic for most of the colleges I've chosen, but it never hurts to try.

Bump. It’s been a while :P

Duke, Stanford, Cornell and CMU are all mid-high reaches… Your SAT scores and GPA are low for those schools, but you never know what might happen… (I’d personally retake the SAT if I were you)

Good luck! :D

Thanks for the reply. Are you saying I have a chance with the others? That would be a satisfying result :P

Your list is too reach heavy. Stanford, Duke, Cornell and Penn are unlikely. Personally I’d add some ood privates below them as opposed to paying OOS tuition at a public.

And tell your dad no, a letter from a govt official who doesn’t know you is a waste of time and can only hurt your application.
