Thank you to those who reply.

I would say your chances are good. Could you answer a question of mine? I notice your reading scores on both the ACT and SAT, but your AP english score is only a 4. Why is this? Was it the writing part that got your or what? I only ask because I have noticed many from the northeast region with out of the box test scores, but 4s on equivalent subjects and am trying to figure an explanation for such a trend.

I’d say that my reason is a bit anomalous, but may also reflect on a larger pattern. My school does not offer AP English Lit or Lang (because the department feels that our program is so strong that it is unnecessary), but it does let you take the test for colleges if you are particularly strong in English. Thus, I had no formal preparation for the exam other than the rigor of my school’s classes.
On another note, this being the one that may more broadly apply to the trend you notice, I undoubtedly prepared way more for the SAT/ ACT than for the AP. Truth be told, I didn’t prepare for the AP (as stated, formally) at all. However, I did much self-preparation for the SAT and ACT. Maybe students from the NE place a greater emphasis on SAT and ACT than on AP scores? Just speculation. Anyway, thank you for responding to my post!

I see. Thanks for your reply. Also I have suggestion, as I do not see why you are not sending your ACT. The scores are strong, I submitted both my ACTS, which were both 30s, and made it. However, it may have been my AP scores that covered the difference. A 33 is above Bows average, so would it not be a good idea to send the score?
