- University of Florida

^ ranked from school I want to go to the most to the least.

High/low reaches and matches? Safeties?

Thank you!!

You can make it into UMiami if your test scores go up

Ok, hopefully I did. Thank you!!

Are those the only 4 schools you’re applying to?

  • University of Miami (Florida) = match
  • University of South Florida = match to safety
  • New College of Florida = academic match but admission will depend on fit
  • University of Florida = reach due to sat score
You need a real safety or two, though

I’m thinking about applying to UCF also.

USF (main campus) should be close to a safety. If you raise your SAT score a bit, then USF or UCF may award you merit. You may want to apply to UCF so you can compare any merit aid, offered by the two schools.

Between the two schools, I’m sure you’ll get accepted. Apply early, as both schools use rolling admissions (and merit is usually offered early, till they run out of $).

Good Luck!

Thank you!

ACT for UMiami is low, they are looking for > 28 unless you are an athlete.
