Please! Chance for ED Brown PLME! Or if any other suggestions! Low gpa issue

Hi guys,

I'm interested in applying to med school this upcoming application season. The program that I am most interested in is the 8-year med PLME program at Brown: I would like to apply ED.
I wanted to see if I could get an estimate to see if I have what it takes to have a chance at this school. I love the environment and the program offered there, and I will do whatever it takes to improve what I have to appeal more to Brown's admissions officers.

Academics:
I believe that I will end up with a 3.5 UW GPA combined for sophomore and junior year (my school does not count freshman year GPA. If it makes any difference, however, I would get a 3.7 UW if freshman year grades were counted).
* To explain; the major slippage resulted from sophomore year. I was participating in an out-of-school research project, an undertaking that took an incredible amount of effort and ability for me to keep my grades up in some of my other class. My UW for that year was the lowest I could fathom.
Freshman and Junior year- 3.8 or 3.9 UW, which isn't bad at all. Sophomore year just killed me.*

Weighted: 3.82, I believe.

School does not rank: but my GC approximated that I am in the top 15%, safely.

9th- all honors classes, except for math
10th- AP Bio + Science Research+ all honors classes
11th- all AP + honors classes; AP Lang, AP Spanish, AP US History, Chemistry, Health, Calculus, British Literature
12th- all AP + honors classes; AP Psych, AP Environmental, AP Calculus BC, AP Lit, AP Spanish Lit, Physics honors

Test Scores:
I scored a 2350 on the SAT, a 35 composite on the ACT.

SAT II Exams:
Biology M (780)
Chemistry (760)
Spanish (760)
Math II (800)

AP Exams:
Biology (5)
US Hist (5)
Lang & Comp (5)
Chemistry (4)
Calc AB (5)
Spanish Lang (5)

Volunteering:
I have had extensive volunteering experience in healthcare and the sciences, at a comprehensive autism diagnosis + care center, at a veterans' home.
I have volunteered and interned extensively at a local science center; I'm one of the volunteer heads as I have been active for 2-3 years.
I have also been working on research on aging for the past 2 years.
Participated in Siemens "We Can Change the World Challenge".
Shadowed a pediatrician.
Petitioned local environmental committee for a proposal to install cameras on streetlights in town to get a gauge for which areas are the busiest and at what times, so we can prescribe alternative routes and adjust traffic signals (traffic is a major problem in our town because of the narrow roads and volume of cars, so it is an important issue to address).

Extracurriculars:
I am most passionate about the sciences, and have mainly been pursuing science-related extracurriculars. I am president of a science club at our school, a member of the Red Cross, and both (2011-2013) Science League participant and (2009-2013) Quiz-Bowl player. I qualified for my school's Science Bowl team. I have taken a Chemistry class at a local college, and have received credits (both lecture & lab: A's in both)
I also attended the Harvard Summer School program for the summer of 2012, taking a genetics and bioethics course.
I am editor-in-chief and layout editor of my school's literary magazine, and have been published in a Spanish Literary magazine as well as a National Poetry Anthology.
Internship with a student agency program in graphic design and web-ads (unpaid); attended conferences and business meetings in the months I was there.
I have tutored kids in teacher-supervised sessions in all levels of Spanish, Biology, and Chemistry.
I am Student Conductor of my high school band.
Flute/piano (some local recitals and fundraising concerts)/guitar

Sports:
Fencing
Tae Kwon Do (1st-2nd black belt and continuing)
Tennis
Badminton Club

Awards:
CTY 2 years
2 time National Spanish exam gold medalist, 2 time silver; 1 time 1st-place winner ($100)
Won a regional poetry contest
Volunteer of the Year- Autism Center

Other hobbies that may be good to mention:
As a hobby, I love learning languages. I have taken some courses, and have become literate in Korean and conversational in Mandarin Chinese. I am most fluent in Telugu and Spanish, as those are the languages I have had exposure to for the longest time. I would love to travel to the countries of the native-speakers of these languages; I'd really love to be able to communicate in a different medium, and meet new people in a new way.

Recs:
2 teachers- amazing (they've both known me for years, and I have participated in EC's outside of class that they were advising)
GC- fairly good
Additional- perhaps a teacher at a summer course, or internship rec; debating on whether or not I should actually submit it

Do you think that, even with my low GPA, it would be possible to still get into Brown's program, with my classes taken, volunteering, extracurriculars, and test scores? What do you think I would have to do to increase my chances of getting in? Or, are there any other prestigious programs you would suggest? I would very much appreciate any advice you may give me.

Thanks.

Also! Writer and editor for school newspaper.

EMT training in progress, and volunteered with local first-aid squad
