Thank you!

Hey so it turns out im looking at schools similar to you. I wont be able to do chances for all of those schools. Anyways you have a multitude of engineering extra curriculars, and you took hard classes. Your GPA is solid, but your scores are the ONLY thing weighing you down. Take the ACT or improve your math score atleast. That will drastically help your chances. I would say high match to low reach at GT, match at perdue, VT, GW, Bucknell, and University of Maryland. High Match at UIUC. Reach at Cornell. Chance me back at http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1531795-chances-cornell-cmu-georgia-tech-will-chance-back.html</a></p>

Great thanks, hopefully I can

Try to bring up your score, particularly the Math section score and SAT2 Math2 score. They are both very weak for engineering, not to mention these top engineering schools.

Considering I just looked it up and my sat i scores are in the middle 50% for about 3/4 of the schools so I would not consider them weak… could definitely be improved thoihh

^ Make sure you look up the stat for engineering school not the whole school. For instance, UIUC engineering mid 50 ACT is 31-34 (mid 50 SAT CR+M 1360-1480) which is much much higher than the mid 50 for UIUC overall. This is basically the case for most engineering schools. Note that your CR+M is 1350 which is below the 25% for UIUC. Purdue is not far off. Same for UVA, Cornell, GA Tech etc.
See the following for UIUC admission stat by schools:
[U</a> of I Admissions: Freshman Admission Requirements](Page Not Found, Illinois Undergraduate Admissions)

Math2 at 660 is indeed rather low for engineering as it is only higher than around 55% of all students taking Math2.
