Ivy League-
Brown: Low Reach
Columbia: Reach
Cornell: High Match
Harvard: Reach
Penn: Low Reach
Princeton: Reach
Yale: Reach
Vanderbilt: Low Match
Rice: High Match

Hmmm

SATI is absolutely outstanding, I’m positively surprised you’re not Asian! It’s a bit hard for me to chance because from the information above I do not know how many APs you took and/or plan on taking. But assuming that your club commitments were consistent for all four years and that perhaps you’ll still get officer positions next year…

Think Ivy Leagues may be a reach but Vanderbilt and Rice should be matches or low reaches. But it would also come down to your major, obviously applying for a major in Russian at Yale is easier than applying for Law.

Make sure you have some safeties in place! Grades look good, but your application would be stronger with more officer positions. Your in good shape if you do have 6+ APs at the end of your senior year, but I’ve heard that in the states it depends on what your school may offer.

Sounds like a good track record. Good luck applying next year! :)

(I agree with the person above, but Cornell may be a high match/low reach)

Yale doesn’t admit by major, so no, applying as a Russian major wont change your chances one bit.

i stand corrected, my apologies.

but for some other schools on the list, it may (or may not perhaps?) make a difference.

It might! But adcoms will know if you are just picking an obscure major to increase your chances. They will look for evidence that you actually are interested in that subject…so I’ve heard.

You have really impressive stats
Ivies are pretty much reaches for everyone, but I think you have a solid chance, especially if you apply ED to one
I think Rice and Vanderbilt are high matches/low reaches for you.
Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=1172389

SAT Math I is often considered worthless by top schools, and many of them specifically ask for Math II instead. I suggest either taking Math II or another exam in October (or both), especially since your SAT I is good as-is.

I like the emphasis on music and artistic ECs, but having relatively few leadership roles may hurt you at the top-tier Ivies (CHYP). With that said, I’d say that those schools are definitely reaches (as they are for everyone, in some form or another), while the rest are either low reaches or high matches. I would expect you to get into (most of) Brown, Cornell, Vandy, Rice, and Penn, and maybe one or two of the others.

Thank you all

In terms of your chances, I would definitely agree with originalthought’s estimations.
Your statistics are excellent, and I think your extracurriculars and what not truly show what your passions are and your strengths. Good luck applying next year!
